Whether you are manifesting your dreams or journaling your goals, crystals can be used to aid in the process. Crystals are believed to carry energy. Each kind of crystal has its own color that can aid in different categories people might be struggling with.

History of crystals

Although there is no known science behind the “power” of crystals, they are mostly known for their beauty. Admiration slowly turned into utilizing crystal energy for healing of the mind, body, and spirit in early civilizations such as Mesopotamia, Greece, Egypt, and China. The healing energies were accessed through the vibrational energies found in the crystals, which can affect energy fields around the crystal, including the human energy field.

According to Crystals for Beginners, a crystal's vibe can have an effect on a person's vibe. Everything has energy, so when a crystal carries an overwhelming positive energy, a person can be impacted positively by the crystal’s energy. This is the same when a person has good energy, you feed off of their energy to have more positive vibrations.

Let’s break it down…

  • Rose quartz is pink and helps with self love, compassion, and emotional healing
  • Carnelian’s color can range from brownish-orange to red-orange. Carnelian is known to promote courage, development of a healthy sense of self, and determination
  • Sodalite is a blue stone that helps with emotional balance and efficient communication
  • Black tourmaline is black promotes protection and grounding
  • Malachite is green and promotes wealth and absorbing negative energy
  • Amethyst is purple and helps relieve addiction and negativity
  • Red jasper is in fact red, helping with revitalization and stability
  • Howlite is white with small gray streaks and helps reduce stress and can bring mental peace

Using crystals can help to attract what you want in life, also known as manifesting. A great way to start manifesting is by writing out your emotions, life goals, and positive affirmations into a journal.  In manifestation, the color ink you use while writing can correlate to the energy the words have.

Color Correlation

  • Green ink attracts wealth and luck
  • Red ink attracts power, passion, and assertiveness
  • Orange ink attracts bravery, warmth, and enthusiasm
  • Yellow ink attracts optimism, creativity, and intelligence
  • Blue ink promotes wisdom, calming energy, and peace
  • Pink ink attracts love, empathy, and kindness
  • Black ink attracts protection, mystery, and empowerment

Now add a crystal to where you place your manifestations. Do you want to work on self love and confidence? Put rose quartz and carnelian next to you as you are writing! Using crystals and manifesting is just a way to be self aware/mindful of things you need help with and are actively seeking to improve upon.

Crystals are just one way some people choose to control the energies around them. If you are skeptical of crystal use, that is fine. However, what’s the harm in trying something new? Writing out your goals and positive self-talk is a good practice, regardless what color you write them in. Taking the time to get organized and positive on paper can help you be present.
